About Lauryl Outdoors

I've always been one to pursue incredibly unrealistic adventures, so this summer I took a month to road trip in my little Subaru named Nellie, all the way from home in Portland, to school here in Philadelphia, going a not-so-direct route through California, Utah, Colorado, Pennsylvania, North Carolina and back to Pennsylvania. The road was packed with stunning sights, tears of laughter, cute lil’ animals, and the constant flapping sound of the strap I used to keep my life’s possessions from flying out of my roof rack along the way. After a month of camping, backpacking, climbing, and fighting with the bossy lady on waze telling me to “make a U-Turn”, I consider myself somewhat of an expert on the open road.  Stay tuned to hear about dolphin chasing, cozy mountain top cabins, stunning red rocks, weird noises my car made, and where to find the best donuts at every stop of the way.
